About Us
Founded in 1988 by Arthur W. Cannon, Cannon Associates was envisioned to provide exemplary service to the electromechanical and electronics industries, along with their dedicated sectors within the Northeast.
Prior to establishing Cannon Associates, Art was an original member, then former President of Elmwood Sensors, a leading manufacturer of thermal sensors and contactors, serving a variety of industries, including aerospace manufacturers such as Rockwell Collins.
The key to Cannon Associates’ decades of success holds its roots within the team’s core values and a deep commitment to serve their principals and customers. This dedication of building lasting, trusted relationships, spans upwards towards 30 years.
Weldon Cannon has been responsible for Cannon Associates’ New England territory since joining the team in 1990.
Mark Battista, formerly a design engineer with Modine Manufacturing, joined Cannon Associates in 1994 and shares the New England territory with Weldon.
Sadly, on August 8, 2020, Arthur W. Cannon passed away, leaving a solid foundation built over the last three decades. Although he will be missed by all whom he has mentored or befriended over the years, Art’s vision and legacy will endure.
